Background

Born to a merchant woman from Carderock and a cleric from Lotus Marsh, Phantonio was soon orphaned in a conflict with the Red Army. He was taken in by the local Order of Clerics and raised under the tutelage of Master Cleric Germaine.

Although his focus was healing, he did not neglect his battle training. He would often help villagers with miscellaneous tasks as well as hiring himself out to the adventurer's guild, and became known by all in the area as a dependable and compassionate young man.

During his studies, he took special interest in the language of the Ancients, and began to work with Hearldry Scholar Bailey on translating and copying old scripts. He turned out to be highly proficient in language studies, and occasionally even recieved work from the Saint Heaven National Library. He was eventually offered a position at the library itself, and was recommended as an ideal candidate for a future Master Cleric role.

After Muesli disappeared one day without a word, and the only news about it came via third parties, he assumed Mue had simply moved on, happier in his big city life. several ,onths later Mue reappeared as abruptly as he had left, with declarations of love and hesitant apologies. After several lectures on the importance of communication, and time spent repairing what had been disrupted, he admitted that maybe distance really had made the heart grown fonder.
